作品說明 Introduction
長針(Long-stitch binding) 是發源於中世紀的古老裝訂形式，以書線將書頁與書皮直接的縫合為一，不須任何黏著劑即可成書，而直接展露於書背的書線則成為長針最獨特的樣貌。以此為發展，並與刺繡做融合，在書背上呈現具結構之力的風景。
花朵一直是我最喜歡的元素，因此在初嘗試融合刺繡與裝幀時，便首選了花、土壤、草皮的意象，期待這片紙上土壤也能夠乘載、孕育出美好的回憶。
Long-stitch binding is an ancient bookbinding technique originating in the medieval period.
In this method, the text block is sewn directly onto the cover without the use of adhesives, and the exposed stitching along the spine becomes the most distinctive feature of the structure.
Building upon this form, I integrate embroidery so that the structural threads on the spine unfold into a landscape.
Flowers have always been my favorite motif.
So when I first began exploring the fusion of embroidery and bookbinding, I naturally turned to imagery of flowers, soil, and grass.
I hope that this fiber soil can also carry and nurture beautiful memories.
