作品說明 Introduction
回應展覽主題「野花園」，本作品以動畫的思維轉化為書本形式，將「翻頁」視為時間的推進方式。透過剪切與折角結構的設計，書頁不再只是被動翻動，而是在不同角度與路徑中，生成三種截然不同的翻頁動線，使手翻書成為一座可被操作的微型動畫裝置。
在這些翻頁機制中，畫面隨著切口與折角的位移而重組、錯位與疊合。兩校的代表植物——新竹交大的九節木、新竹油菊、文殊蘭，以及陽明校區的十大功勞、大金星蕨、山菊、山櫻花、臺灣三角楓——不再以固定的頁序出現，而是隨著翻法的不同彼此穿插、交錯生長，形成非線性的觀看經驗。
隨著翻閱，花草在頁面之間相互覆蓋、轉換與消散，象徵兩個校園在合校、合院過程中的重疊與融合，最終共同構築出一座持續生成的野花園。
本作品採用手工膠裝完成，書背使用佳筠的手抄紙，裝訂結構不僅承載書頁，也成為視覺的一部分。紙材與書背的節奏呼應植物的生長脈絡，使書本在被翻閱、展開與闔上的過程中，保留手作痕跡與時間感，讓「被製作的過程」與「被翻閱的過程」彼此交織。
Responding to the exhibition theme Wild Odyssey, this flipbook translates animation thinking into book form, treating page-turning as the movement of time. Through cutting and folded-corner structures, the book generates three different flipping paths, turning it into an operable micro-animation device.
Plants from the two campuses interweave, overlap, and transform as the pages are flipped, symbolizing the merging and coexistence of the campuses and gradually forming a shared, ever-growing wildflower garden. The book is hand-bound, with a spine made of handmade paper, allowing the material and binding to become part of the work’s visual language.
