作品說明 Introduction
這是一本以「兔子」為核心的手工書，透過 Coptic 裝訂法的變化，將書背轉化為星星、兔子與雲朵交織的圖案，使裝訂本身成為敘事的一部分。
我之所以反覆創作兔子主題，來自龍應台的《目送》：「如果平均壽命是八十歲，那麼我們連養八隻兔子，就是一生。」對我而言，兔子成了一種時間的載體，溫柔地承接陪伴、流逝與記憶。
在翻閱的過程中，讀者不只是閱讀內容，也能感受書本結構的節奏與層次。可愛的兔子被藏進每一次翻頁之中，像是小小的驚喜，靜靜出現又消失，讓時間在指尖慢慢展開。
This is a handmade book centered on the theme of rabbits. Through a modified version of Coptic binding, the spine is transformed into a pattern of stars, rabbits, and clouds, allowing the binding itself to become part of the narrative.
My repeated use of rabbits as a subject is inspired by Farewell by Lung Yingtai: “If the average lifespan is eighty years, then raising eight rabbits amounts to a lifetime.” To me, rabbits function as vessels of time, gently holding companionship, passing moments, and memory.
As the book is flipped through, the reader is not only reading its content but also sensing the rhythm and structure of the book itself. The rabbits are hidden within each turn of the page, appearing like small surprises—quietly emerging and disappearing—allowing time to slowly unfold at one’s fingertips.
