PATHS is a collection of zines that are curated around the art of Tomoyo Ihaya.
Each zine reflects a collaboration between Ihaya and a particular writer. Writers from many cultures and countries were asked to participate and respond to the work, and each writer explores the images provided by Ihaya to create their own work. Every zine in the series is inspired by different cultural, social, and political territories. The work in PATHS is intended to provoke discussion, contemplation, and connectedness around the themes of compassion and empathy in the hopes of bringing a collective healing across many borders. The zines are printed in small batches and unfold into posters.
