每日織花，讓光滑柔軟的細線蠶食切割著手指，留下發紅疼痛的凹痕。在持續重複機械式勞動、不斷尋求更多藍色的過程裡，自溺的情緒及對於藍色小花偏執的迷戀，逐漸與召喚出它們的人影錯開，游離成一縷美麗又悲傷的幽靈。這本書的內容由他而起，最終卻成了我的自畫像。
Each day I crocheted more flowers, letting the smooth threads cut into my fingers, leaving red, aching marks. Through the repetitive, mechanical labor and the continual search for more shades of blue, my sorrow and obsessive attachment to the flowers gradually slipped out of alignment with the person who had first called them forth.
This book began because of him—but in the end, it became my own self-portrait.
