作品說明 Introduction
《呢喃》以道路做為繪本的主體，呈現動物在道路上被車輛殺害之後，在第三空間流離的魂魄意象。繪本使用布料材質與繡線製作。作者從小住在鄉下，觀察近年來鄉下許多地方漸漸被開發,以及建造出更多的道路。原生於自然環境中的動物們，在未適應環境的變遷之下，牠們被車輛殺害的場景層出不窮。繪本中的動物主角有石虎、穿山甲、蛇、蛙、龜、鳥、招潮蟹，這些動物是台灣路殺排名的前幾名。
“Whisper” uses roads as the main theme of the picture book, presenting the imagery of the souls of animals wandering in the third space after being killed by vehicles on the road. The book is made of fabric material and embroidery. The author grew up in the countryside and observed that many places in the countryside have gradually been developed, and more roads have been built in recent years. Animals that are native to the natural environment have been constantly killed by vehicles due to the changing environment they have not yet adapted to. The animal protagonists in the picture book include the Formosan clouded leopard, pangolin, snake, frog, turtle, bird, and fiddler crab, which are among the top few species of roadkill in Taiwan.
