撲翼機（Ornithopter）作為人類渴望飛行的原型，象徵人類模仿自然以突破肉體限制的渴望。本作品探討人如何透過絕對的自我創造來區別於被動的自然物。作品以手工造紙結合羽毛拓印，將飛行的肌理凝結於紙張纖維間。這些痕跡具現了拒絕被定義的意志，試圖讓觀者在凝視中，體驗超越物理束縛的自由與超脫。
As a prototype of humanity’s aspiration for flight, the Ornithopter symbolizes the desire to transcend physical limitations by mimicking nature. This work explores how human existence distinguishes itself from passive natural objects through absolute self-creation. Combining handmade paper with feather rubbings, the artwork captures the textures of flight within the fibers. These traces manifest a will that refuses to be defined, inviting viewers to experience a freedom and transcendence that surpasses physical constraints.
